The legacy of Peace Treaty echoes across our red brick Main Street and throughout Memorial Peace Park, it’s nurtured in our museums and schools, and rooted in our people – some for generations.
Whether you are new to our rural community or your family arrived here by covered wagon, Peace Treaty is more than our heritage; it is your story and our shared story.
Since before the first Pageant in 1927, local businesses, organizations, neighbors, families, volunteers and even our kids have sustained the Peace Treaty Pageant and its annual events, traditions, and experiences. Those experiences continue to bring our friends and family back home, welcome visitors to town and draw our community together.
